I'm fuming as I write this...i just need to know if i am alone in being annoyed.
i had made an appt to start looking for wedding gowns with a certain bridal salon on li - name is not revelant, but its a very reputable salon that comes highly recommeneded. So, I made the appt last month for tomorrow, but had to re-schedule b/c something came up, so i called them last week to reschedule for saturday, saept 3rd. last night, i get a message from them saying that the owner of the salon has decided to close that saturday due to lack of business. w t f!!!!! seriously. and they want me to call them back to reschedule. how do they close on a saturday in september!!! and no, its not b/c of the holiday, she clearly said we are closing b/c they are not enough clients coming in that day.
so, no business from me. not a gown for me, my mom, my fmil, or my 5 bm's and 1 fg.
if you disagree with my outrage, please tell me why, b/c my head is still spinning and i want others opinions.
how would you react??

i'd be mad too. you think they would have at least opened the store for your appointment. i mean, look at the potential sales they are missing out on by you not going.

Hi, new here!
I would be pissed, I would tell them I'm pissed, and I would tell them that they missed out on all those possible sales. And either find another vendor, or make them grovel for a super price!
This can be used to your advantage. Just my $0.02

Wow...I can't believe a shop would do something like this.
I would definitely be mad. Especially since they are 'suppose' to reputable.
It really shows that they do not care too much about their customers.
Definitely go some place else.

I believe my bridal shop is not open on weekends except for the summer months.. I could be wrong though.

I do not blame you in the least, I would not go there even if they were open till midnight and I would let it be know- go some place else I'm sure they will have 'your' dress there aswell

after the whole patguoge bridal nighmare- I would stay far away- if they are lacking for business during wedding season- that's a problem- I could understand if it was January- but it's August!

thats what i'm thinking too - how do you not have enough business?? any bride getting married next august is looking for a dress now....its just so infuriating
