can you tell I am bored and hungry? So, please share!

I love a place called Russian Vodka Room. Exellent drinks, food is good too, and authentic decadent atmospher always makes me want to go there again and again!

I also love Yama- on Irving st.-great sushi, but long wait and they rush you because there are always people waiting at the door.

when I lived there, I always enjoyed Miracle Grill and El Quixote.

I love Tony DiNapoli on 82nd and 2nd. (Maybe it is 80th?) They serve the BEST family style Italian food and it is not too expensive. mmmmmm

I love Tony's too but the one on 43rd street between Broadway and 6th Avenue.

The best meal I ever had was the River Cafe in Brooklyn but its crazy overpriced.

On the other side, a really cheap favorite is Vinny's Luncheonette on Smith Street.

Stef - Did you live in Carroll Gardens? I lived there for 3 years and LOVED Vinny's. Tanbride and I got take out from there all the time!!

VINNY'S IS THE BOMB!!! RLivngs and I used to eat there AT LEAST ONE A WEEK!! We lived down the block from there -its the most authentic Italian food I have ever had and that's saying a lot since my parents lived in Italy!

My favorite is ITHACA a Greek place on Borrow street off West 4th. Great GREEK food. FElls like you are eating in a little cafe in Greece!!

Divine Bar on 51st b.t 2nd & 3rd.
It has the best atmosphere, I LOVE tapas and the wine list is incredible!

whatnow!! DH loves the yellowtail...they all know him when we go in...people come to shake his hand - even if we haven't been there in months(helps since you cannot make reservations)...He can order $100+ sushi easily there...

His favorite is the dragon roll though

Cheryl...if you love tapas...you really have to try La Paella...Dh's family is from Spain and they have tried all different types of Spanish restaurants and they just love La Paella...

and the sangria is the best I have ever had...in the US or in Spain!!

I love Park Avalon in Union Square. Very cosy with candles all around...awesome food and chocolate fondue for dessert...YUM

I also go to Flor De Sol a lot in Tribeca...great food and aswesome sangrias : ).

I could really name so many, b/c I like a lot of different foods. Some that come to mind are Blue Water Grill, Candela, Hangawi (we got engaged there!), Cucina de Pesce, Chin Chin.... the list goes on and on!

But the BEST place for margaritas is Zarelas on 51st and 2nd!! Really great mexican food there too, but I admit I go for the DRINKS, baby!
