Telling someone off...

Telling someone off...

If you had a friend for many many years and you always forgave them but never forgot their actions.......
how would you deal with the following?

They spoke bad and made nasty comments about your family..
They made a racist comment about another BM in your BP...
They are engaged in behavior that goes against your beliefs and they flaunt it..
They asscociate with people that have screwed you over for $$$$
They lied to you about $$ ......

I can go on and on and on and on

I told this person OFF as nice as I could and said..

'I don't need someone like you in my life'...

What I want to know.
Was I wrong!

If they did all the things that you say they did...how could you be wrong?!

I think you were tame! That was very nice of you to just tell them to get out of your life! I would have taken a few shots at them!

Re: Telling someone off...

no sometimes you just dont have use for people

One should surround themselvers with positive people and not negative

Oh..

I told her off on each point.
I hope she reads her email and doesn't show up at my party!

Re: Telling someone off...

Why would you think you're wrong? You did the right thing -- and no longer have to pretend someone is your friend. You just removed negativity from your life!!

Re: Telling someone off...

The question is: is she better to keep around as an acquaitance or do you want her as an enemy? If you have known her forever, be ready for a war (not like what she did to you wasn't bad enough)

Sounds like she asked for it.
Wacky's right though- sometimes, you just have no use for people!

Re: Telling someone off...

If you dont feel comfortable with any relationship and have doubts/concerns over it and it has or will eventually affect you negatively, then IMO there is nothing wrong with ending it...what counts is if you feel you have done whats right for you and/or your family in this matter.
Hope that helps

Re: Telling someone off...

You were RIGHT ON!!! The racial comment alone would have been enough. You dont need people like that in your life..you seem like alot of fun..surround yourself by happy people!!

Kick her to the curb. I just kicked one.

She told me I ****ed. I said you know what I really don't need people that talk to me like that in my life.
