Temple Israel of Lawrence

Has anyone heard of Temple Israel of Lawrence? If so, can you please share any information/photos that you may have of weddings there?

Thank you

Friends of ours just got married there. I think it was just redone not too long ago. Haven't seen any pics yet but they were in love with it when last we talked. Kinda pricey.

Anyone else been to a wedding in Temple Israel of Lawrence? We are considering having our wedding there but have a few issues with it.... I wish there were other people's wedding pictures from there that I can look at... :( Anyone?

Thanks!

is that the temple on central avenue?

i was BM in a wedding there a while back.. from what i remember it was nice, service and food.. the bride and the family were very happy with it.. think its $$$$ though..

as far as pictures.. they were all taken for the most part inside the temple where the ceremony was and in front of the chuppah.. but then again times have changed since then so not sure what is done now..

hth - if i got the right temple!

Yes, that's the one, on Central Avenue. They re-did the hall, it is gorgeous! I wish someone had something to tell me about it, I do have some concerns...

They have nothing to do with food or service. It's more about the set up of the place. We will have a big wedding about 350-450 ppl and just wondering if it's too tight...

Also, we want to have the ceremony outside and the whole going into a hall and then going back out to the street (because the outside ceremony is on their side lawn) and then back in... just doesn't seem to flow nicely to me...

Also, the entrance is nothing to rave about, doesn't have the wow factor...

And the hall, which is the best part about it...is set up in a weird way and we are just worried about things such as sitting arrangement and where the bride and the groom walk in from is weird..

Anyway, I could go on...

Having said all that, the place has many many pluses!

Do you know how much your friend is paying per person?
