Hi Everyone, I'm brand new to this and I'm starting to check out synagogues for wedding sites, planning for a March wedding. Does anyone know about Great Neck temples? Specifically, I'm trying to get a clue about price ranges per person for Temple Israel and/or Temple Emanuel in Great Neck. Any experiences to share would be helpful. Thanks!

RONA!!!!!! WELCOME!!!! I think you can expect the temple range to fall anywhere from $110+ pp before tax and gratuity.

Welcome! I can't help you with either of those temples, but they are great.
If you need another recommendation, the East Meadow Jewish Center was excellent. I couldn't have been happier and they were less expensive that most and really went over and above.

Re: Temple price ranges
Temple prices can range like any other hall depending on day of the week, season and with temples, Glatt versus non-kosher. Our temple was not kosher and we had a winter wedding and was considerably less than a winter wedding for kosher catering. Great Neck synagogues will probably cost more simply because it is Great Neck.
