SIL decided to wait to visit when her DH can come too (cause we needed more people in the house)

So, my weekend has been freed, but they will be here on some unknown weekend in the next month...

too bad...you could have gotten it over with if it were this weekend...


next time she calls tell her thats the weekend you are going down to San Diego...oh next weekend...sorry we will be LA...ec

Well, look at it this way, if her DH is there also, then you won't have to entertain her as much when she comes

I'm not trying to be a trouble maker, but why would she impose that many people on you in a 1 bdrm apt? I just don't understand that. If money's an issue, she could get a hotel on Priceline or something....

Lisa, is she trying to make the most out of you and Al living in SF before you move?? I don't get it...

And can't you tell her that you and Al have plans to do the things YOU want to do before you move?? Oh, and how does she expect you to host them when within the next month you need to begin PACKING for your MOVE????

We haven't really started packing YET, but boxes will be a real concern in a month. I think she's just clueless. She's using the excuse that she wants us to bond with her kids, which is sweet, but we're MOVING to NY! We'll have plenty of bonding time then!

She's been talking about coming out here for months, and now she's out of time, so she's trying to rush it (thats how they do things in his family).

On one hand, I'm glad she's making an effort to visit, cause its always only my family that does, but I just wish she'd be less intrusive.

Al doesn't really know what to say about it - other then he'll be mixing me martini's, and we can go to a hotel.

at this point, I'd be surprised if she even makes it out, so I'm not going to worry about it.
