Try going to the outlets in Riverhead. I dont know how far that is for you but Leggs/Hanes/Bali Outlet have what your describing for around $8.00 a pair and they come in assorted colors. Also try your local Walmart/Target?kMart in the Lingerie section.

Ooooh! Go to Bath and Body Works! They had ADORABLE, white Valentine's ones, that I bet are on sale now! That's it... I'm officially hitting the mall on my lunch break! I forgot about them until you reminded me! Thanks!

A friend got me dearfoams, they are soooo soft and comfy. They are regular slippers but thongs and terry......the best! Google it to find, sorry I'm no help...

just found plain, white ones at Bath and Body Works. They LOOK so comfortable. The two stores around me (Plainview and Broadway Mall) don't have any V-Day ones left, but these are the same, without the hearts:
