Testing Negative

How many of you mommies or soon to be mommies tested negative on your first HPT before you found out you were PG?

How long did you wait to take another test?

Don't let the results disappoint you. Its a matter of how soon one tests. If you test too early, it may not detect it.

I have irregular cycles, so I tested negative on about 6 tests before I got my positive. I tested every 3-4 days -- I didn't have the patience to wait longer than that!

I tested negative 1 week before, 3 days before and 1 day after af was supposed to arrive. my pregnancy was confirmed 1 week later at my dr's office

I tested positive first time, but made sure to take it a while after AF was due. ( 4-5 days) I wanted the results to be accurate even though I was dying to know...

I got a BFN but it was because I tested too early....then I tested a day before when I thought I would get AF and got my bFP (my cycles were never the same # of days, so I was calculating by the longest cycle)

I tested many times and got a BFN. A month later I found out I was PG, and it turns out I ovulated really late in my cycle.
