thank u cards for early gifts

What am I supposed to do if I recieve a wedding gift mailed to my home before the wedding? These people are attending the wedding. Should I send out a thank you card now or wait till after the wedding? When i see them at the wedding do I say thank you also?

What about gifts I get from people who can't make it? Do I send the TY card now or after?

Thanks!

Im waiting until after the wedding to send all my thank you's regardless of when i get them and whether theyre coming or not.

If they're not coming to the wedding I sent my TY cards when I got the gift. I haven't gotten any gifts from people who ARE coming, but I would probably wait until after the wedding for those.

My plan was to send them as they came in, but with all the craziness before the wedding, that didn't happen. I'm going to send them out with the rest of them. Besides, I'm sure they'll be happy to see the pictures on the TY anyway,

I'm going to send two...a quick thank you note when the gift arrives, and the formal one after the wedding.

I am crazy with tys so I would send out one immdiately just a quick note to say thank you and then a formal one after the wedding. Just so they know you got the gift.

I waited. I'm sending all mine at the same time.

if they are coming, normally i'd wait until after the wedding. however, i got a gift from people coming to my wedding last week, and since it's still 2 months away, thought it would be rude not to acknowledge the gift.
