Thank You!!!!!!!!

I just want to say that you guys are the best. I am suffering from major PMS so last night I was very emotional. I felt so good after I posted, that I went to my dress shop and tried on my dress. As I was going there I was crying I guess from stress I had to force myself to go but I knew that if I didn’t go I wouldn’t sleep until I tried it on. What I forgot to mention last night is that I had them order me a smaller dress so it wouldn’t be too big when I lost all of the weight I was PLANNING to loose, so I was very nervous that it wouldn’t fit. Well girls it fits and it is beautiful, I called a friend last night and admitted to her what I was feeling and she is so wonderful because she battled the bulge and won. A few years ago she lost alot of weight she still wants to loose weight even though she doesn’t have to because she looks great. Well she really helped and we decided that we are going to have our own Weight Watchers at home. We are going to follow a good meal plan (and thanks guys for your diets I am going to use them) and exercise, and every Monday we are going to meet at her house to weigh in. So we will be able to support each other. Again thank you for being so supportive and bringing me back to reality. Before I logged on to the web site today two people asked me if I lost weight so I guess I am loosing weight, I am going to continue eating healthy so I don’t get sick and I will try to chill out and roll with the punches. The important thing is that my fI and I are in love whether I am skinny or not :o)

I'm so thrilled for you that your dress fit and looks beautiful. And when you do drop a few lbs. over the next few weeks as a result of your diet, don't worry about alterations. My dress had to be taken in a lot after I lost weight (due to illness and surgery - I don't recommend that route!) and they did a wonderful job adjusting the bodice - it's amazing what a good seamstress can do, and taking in is much easier.

I'm so glad you went, whether or not the dress looked beautiful. The real point is that you are a beautiful person, and that will come shining through, especially on your wedding day. I know what I'm saying. I lost 47 pounds during the year before my wedding, and right before the wedding, I gained some of it back. I was sooo upset, but on my wedding day, none of it mattered, because the look on my face was everything. My mother always told me, there are dresses that look pretty, and there are dresses that look pretty ON YOU - and that has to do with the person inside the dress, and not so much the dress. Try to relax and enjoy these wonderful moments.

Christine, I am so glad to see that your dress fit and you feel better. Keep up the good work and don't always let the scale be your judge. As Nancy pointed out, sometimes you loose inches and not pounds, which is just as productive.
