Do you send a thank you to someone who attended your wedding and did not give a gift?
I don't even care about a gift but you can't at least give a card?

Re: Thank You...
i was told that everyone gets a thank you regardless
i had ppl come to our e-party and not bring a card or anything (not that it matters just saying) and we sent everyoneeee a thank you even if it just said 'your presence made our day that much more special' or something lol
hth!

I was told the same thing. I didn't think I should send a card when they couldn't but its proper etiquette

Re: Thank You...
we only had 2 people who didnt give us a gift or card... and we still sent them thank you cards. basically just saying thanks for celebrating with us (they were from out of state, so they put the expense into traveling).

Re: Thank You...
wait.... hold up!!!!
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME.... people actually showed up with NOTHING???
Are you sure it wasn't lost??
I have never in my life heard of anyone attending a wedding and NOT giving a card! I know times are tough these days, but thats just so wrong!
If you can't afford a $3.99 card, you shouldn't be going to the wedding!!!!

Re: Thank You...
I'm giving a Thank You to everyone. We had only two guests who didn't give a card (I think). One said they were going to mail it to us, but never did.
I'm still going to send a thank you card for coming to the wedding.

Wow that's just terrible! I would NEVER do that to someone! I would be so upset. I'm sorry.

Re: Thank You...
Thanks ladies! We had a family of five (all adults 40 and over) and not one of them gave a card.
We also had another person who didn't as well so a total of 6!
It is not the gift that bothers me, it is the fact that they couldn't give a card. So now I have to spend more money to send a thank you for taking up space and for giving a free dinner/drinks/and entertainment.
I may sound like a real b*tch and I shouldn't care but unfortunately I do.

Re: Thank You...
You should still send a card. This happened to us at our eparty with one guest, but he actually told us times are hard for him and we COMPLETELY understood.
