Thank you all for your prayers

My grandfather passed away yesterday afternoon.

My family believes he waited to see my brother (his only grandson) before he left. About an hour after my brother and his kids arrived, my grandfather passed.

I can't believe he's gone. But what saddens me the most is knowing he will not physically be there witnessing the happiest moment of my life. I am glad to know my grandfather loved FH and was excited we were getting married.

I know on my wedding day he will be looking down at me with pride and happiness.

I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts with my family during this time. I appreciate all the support from each and everyone of you.

You ladies are like a bunch of second sisters to me.

I'm so sorry for your loss - like the other ladies have said, I'm sure he'll still be there looking down on you and FH and feeling like the proudest grandfather.

Ashley, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm one of the new kids here and I am dealing with my mom's cancer. It's SO hard when you have loved ones suffering. If you and your grandfather were close maybe a little charm of him to have on or in your bouquet? MY GF did this with small heart locket of her dad and she had his dog tags sewn into the hem of her gown so she felt a part of him was there with her on her special day. Hugs to you and your family.
