When did/are you sending out your thank you cards?
I am still waiting on my pro-pics which I should be receiving by the middle of December. I'll send them out shortly after the beginning of January (which has always been my plan)
Do you think that's ok?
I had a rude guest email me today and ask when I was sending them out!!!! We just got married October 9th...

We got married 4/30 and I had them all sent out by Sept/Oct so less than 6 months. You definately are fine, according to etiquette I believe you have a year

got married 4/29 and sent out my thank yous mid July. I also waited to get the pro pictures back. You definitely have time

We got married June 25.... Got our pro pics at the end of July. Then chose images for the thank yous, and ordered them.
They were all out by the end of September

I am not going to write thank you's. LOL Kidding. We got married 10/14 and we plan to send out by end of January (granted we get our pro-pics before the end of December)

We sent ours out at exactly the 5 month mark. I didn't have a single person ask me about the thank you's (besides my mom). I can't believe someone already asked you! Jeez!

I got married 3/26 and I just ordered mine they should be out before Christmas..... you have a year.

Thanks ladies! I couldn't believe I got an email from this guest asking...I was completely shocked that someone would have the nerve. As if I wouldn't?

I got married Oct. 2, and the same thing happened to me!!!
I guess it depends on the generations...old school etiquette says you should send them out within 1 month of the wedding (no later than 3 months at most) and it was an older aunt that called and asked us! But I've read in other modern etiquette books that you have up to a year to send them as well.
If you're waiting for pro pictures to include, it's nearly impossible to get them out that quickly these days.
I also think old-school etiquette assumed that the new wifey was at home all day and therefore had plenty of time to write notes. It's a whole different reality for us working girls!
