DH's co-workers all chipped in from two seperate departments and gave us checks for the wedding. My question is, do I have to give thank you cards to each person who chipped in individually or can we make one out to the two departments?? Would that be bad etiquette??

I would address the TY card to each dept and individually list their names on the card itself.

youre so bad!!!! Well, I might have even worse etiquette and email them because DH doesnt want our photo thank you card sitting in the office for everyone to see. He's so weird!

i agree with this option I also think they will completely understand that you werent going to send each of them a thank you /picture card individually -

I would agree with this- no need to write each and every one of them a TY card with a photo... also since they did it as a group to thank them as a group.

at work we just do/get one general thank you 'to all at xyz company' and it's on the fridge for a few days. but i agree with the above too.
I think a thank you to the attendants is nice, not necessarily required. if you loved them and feel like they went above and beyond, go for it.
