I've been married for 1 year now. We've been sooo busy with work, move and everything else and did not have the chance to send out thank you cards. Is it too crazy to send it now? after a year? I've been feeling horrible about not sending it out since I so see lots of guests from our wedding at work. Please help!!!!

Thank you soooo much for your replies... One more thing, I wrote out and seal some of them to mail out but was waiting to finish all my cards so that it can be sent out all together. I didn't include apology within my thank you note. Is it too rude to send it out without explaining on the delay in thanking them so late? Also, I am not sending out picture thank you cards... Now I'm thinking I should pick up more thank you cards and writing it over with sincere apology. What do you think?

How many would you need to redo? How long do you think it would take? It's up to you with those, whether you think you can redo them and whether you think your guests will want an apology.
I know it's hard to find time but I would try to set aside time every day this week and get as many as you can out by Saturday. Get your DH to help you... You will feel so good once it is over.

I agree, send them out ASAP. And I know from second hand experience, some people get really cranky when they don't get thank you cards. Better to send them now than have any unnecessary drama in the future.

Also, if you really moved & all that, I'm sure that the guests at your wedding are aware of it.
Another idea, following the TYs immediately send out 'New Home' announcements. Those that don't know will get a heads up

I think you should send it, better late than never. you could always write a quick apology for being so late saying that you have been busy with newlywed life.

I agree with the above posters--send them out! Better late than never.
Don't bother writing the ones over with an apology if you haven't done so already. Why delay it even further? And please don't blame the photographer (looks like it was moot anyway) or life in general. Life's busy for everyone.
Everyone gets a little anxious over the monumental task of writing the thank you notes. By considering writing some of them over, the task is even bigger.
You'll feel a lot better once you just get them off your plate. Good luck!
