Thank you cards?

Thank you cards?

My MOH just called to tell me she can help me write the thank you cards for bridal shower. I didn't know you can have someone else write it for you. What is the etiquette? She even offered to write the wedding thank you cards. I thought it has to be written by the bride. I feel bad turning her down. Should I let her? She is a lefty, and her handwriting is completely different than mine.

let her help, but people that are close to you you should write yourself. no one is going 2 examine the thank you cards to see if u wrote them or not.

I dont really like that idea...I dont know how I'd feel about getting a thank you card written by someone else. Its kind of seems like its not from the heart, kwim?

I wouldn't have her help write the notes themselves but she could do the envelopes, or a message you want written in all of the cards and you do the personalized part...

i don't think its appropriate. It's nice of her to offer and help you out, but the fact that you yourself said you aren't sure about it, speaks volumes. I'd politely decline.

it's totally your preference but i think it should come from you. it is nice to know that your moh is really supportive, but some things should just be left up for the bride to handle.

Thats a really great offer, but I would do them yourself if I were you (IMO).. I did all mine myself for over 70 ppl and it took forever but I got it done in a week or so.. I would ask her to help stamp & stuff envelopes.

BTW: You have a great MOH for offering that!
