Soooo it is with much shame and embarassment that I say I have not yet sent out my Thank You cards. It took us awhile to choose the picture due to some serious health issues I had in the beginning of this year, but I have had the cards since May and have still not sent them!!! I am soo super embarassed I don't know if I should not do it or send them out... Any advice? Everythime I look at the box with the thank you cards, I seriously feel anxious

Our wedding was 2 weeks after yours and we haven't sent them all out yet (DH has 7 more to write and some of them are for people who live in the same home and good friends with people who's cards are already written so I feel we shouldn't send them until they are all done).
We didn't get our pictures until late March, 2 days before we closed on our house. I got mine done quickly since I did them during my commute on the train.
My motto is better late than never!

Hi girls! I haven't sent mine either, and I have major anxiety too. We moved out of state, started new jobs, DH's dad had a serious accident, etc. since we got married so things have been very hectic. Sounds like excuses and I worry people will think that. I am hoping to finish mine this week once and for all...but DH has a long way to go. I am usually so good with TY's too so I feel even more embarrassed!

You have up to a year to send them out so you're still OK!! Better to send them out now then to not send them out at all, IMO it's rude to do that after people attended your wedding and gave you gifts.

The worst thing is my mom keeps asking me when I am sending them out. I think people have been making side comments to her about it

It took me a while to get mine out also.
I gave my husband 6 cards to write out....and He hasn't done them yet! I have reminded him that he needs to get them out. The 6 people he needs to send them too are:
His Mom & Dad His Sister and Family His Two Best Men and Family's and His Two Cousin and their family's
I did all the rest....I think he can do these!

I gave DH 18 to write out and he got just over half done right away and has held out on the others for like a month now. Very frustrating! I wrote out all of the others (mind you we invited 429 people to our wedding so it was a decent number).

oh it's no biggie! just send 'em - mine were late too :) any time up to a year really is fine...and i've gotten ones even later than that!

I just sent mine out 2 weeks ago...and still have about 5-7 more to write. I just have been so busy...and the writing cramps SUCK!

Ahh so thank to you guys I got the majority done from my side of the family. FH wants to do his (which I think will take forever) but they are going out before August no matter what!

I haven't sent mine out. Granted I only got them two weeks ago, but still they sit. DH insists he wants us to do them together but we haven't had time together that hasn't been designated for something related to getting our mortgage and closing on our house since we got them.
If he doesn't sit down with me this weekend, I'm just going to do them all myself.

ditto, IMO its so rude not to send them. Set a goal, by this weekend, have them all done. Stop putting them off and get em out. I know its crude, but tell your self 'These must get out by next Friday'

Technically, you have a year. I am sure people are aware of your health issues, and know how busy people are after getting married.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.....rather just sit down this weekend and get them done.
You'lll feel soooo much better when its off your plate

Kudos to you for getting some done!! Now just pop them in the mail!
We got ours out right before the 6 month mark because I forced myself to sit down and write some every night. I wrote them in groups and put them in the mail the next morning.
