Thank You Etiquette???

Thank You Etiquette???

So some people who have sent back their RSVP with a no have sent a check WITH the RSVP. How do I handle the 'Thank You' for this.

DO I:

1. Send a regular Thank You card now?

2. Send a Thank You card when we send them out after the wedding when we get them from the photographer?

3. Both... Card now and official Thank You card from the Photographer...

Not sure what the proper etiquette is and I dont want anyone to think we dont appreciate their presents...

I sent out a TY right away to each person and then when my pro pics TYs came in, I sent one of those too.

IMHO

For guests who sent checks but NO on the RSVP's - I sent out a nice, good quality Thank You card but not the official wedding pix with card, because I wanted to get whatever TY's out of the way. I thought that was fine - being that these people did not actually attend the wedding. But if you want to go the extra mile and send the card with the pix - that is fine too.

I think whatever you decide to do is fine so long as you send them some sort of thank you

I think you should send TY asap. I dont think you need to send two. But it was really nice that they included a gift with their response and it deserves a nice timely thank you.
