Thank You for early wedding gifts...when do you send?
We just got a 'no' rsvp in the mail, but they sent a card and monetary gift with it
Do I send a thank you right away b/c they just sent the gift, or do I send it after the wedding with the other professional ones from the photog?

We have received a couple of checks before the wedding and I sent just regular thank you cards for now. When we have the 'real' thank yous we will send one of those with a favor from the wedding.

No, I would wait until after the wedding. I'm sure you want them to have a TY card with a wedding photo.

I'm not sure what I did... but I know that I sent a nice expensive gift to someone for a wedding I didn't attend and didn't hear anything for a year after their wedding... I thought that it was VERY rude that they didnt acknowledge it..but then understood why after.. but still didn't thiink it was cool

I would call and say thank you and then send the thank you card after the wedding. That way they don't feel left hanging.

I remember my sister sent them her Wedding thank you cards. It was about 6 months after the wedding. Basically you can do it right away or wait, I don't think it really matters.
