Thank you so much for the well wishes girlies...you are a wonderful group of girls, and honestly when this all went down I thought to myself 'I need my LIW girls...they'll understand!!!'

You really helped me...I love you girls so much!! Keep the prayers up, and I hope it all works out....

She sounds like a real piece of work. I'm sorry you're going through this
I think sometimes with men, the natural progression of loyalty towards their mother (if they're close to them, anyway) to loyalty towards their wife (or wife-to-be) takes awhile for some guys. It's a balancing act, and it can be tricky at times, but I hope things smooth out and he realizes where his priorities are and why he made this decision (whatever is it; I know you have your reasons for being vague) in the first place.

That's the thing...they aren't close at all lol...I basically asked him if once he was here I was going to have to remind him to call his mom and keep in touch with her and he said 'Yeah, probably'

I think he's just a people please...but I think more that she just worked him over good and guilted him into it. She had her life, she doesn't get to have mine too

I had this up on my screen before I went for my BM dresses...

Long distance Mother-In-Laws are the most hideous ones in the universe... they use their guilt-trickery from afar. I am so sorry you're going though this
