Thank You Girls - Update

I wanted to thank you all for your amazing words of support here on the boards and those of you that FM'd me. These past couple of days for me have been really difficult, as FH and I have barely spoken to each other. For those of you that don't know, we live together. So it makes living together and not talking REALLY hard and painful.

Anyhow, we spoke a little this morning. Not much, but enough to know that we both want to get past this rough patch and work things out. He told me we'd chat tonight when he gets home and promised me that we'll be ok. Which is exactly what I needed. I don't need this fixed immediately, I just need to know that it can be fixed and that he wants to work on it with me. And now I know, and now we can move forward.

I think I'm going to take the next few weeks until the New Year as a break from actual wedding planning and just enjoy our time. I'm not going to buy anything else, book anything else, and try my hardest not to bother FH with any of it. But don't worry ladies, now that I know FH and I will be ok, I can also come back to you.

Laura, I am so, soooo happy that things are working out as much fun as wedding planning is, it is also very stressful. I think the break from planning is perfect, you should go on lots of dates with your fh.

I agree taking taking a break is probably a good idea. You probably owe it to yourself with the holidays being stressful enough. Good Luck to you guys. Everything will be just fine.

Thats great to hear Laura...we missed you around here!!! It's good sometimes to take a breather from the madness of wedding planning plus, when you finally get around to planning again, it makes it that much more fun!

It's a great time to take a break from planning too... Christmas is a happy time and you can remember getting engaged last year and celebrate just being together! Besides, you have so much done, I think its time for a little planning break!
