Thank You Macys...Thank You

I have now received 2 gifts from my registry that should not have shipped to my house. Fortunately my mom finds it funny, I on the other hand, do not.


On a better note....at least gifts are being bought

First off, hahahaha re: UPS Man.

Secondly, I'm not sure how they still let this happen! It's not a 'new/innovative' thing to not send shower gifts to the bride! grr. sorry!

I have now received SIX gifts, including my mom's!, from freaking Macys!!!!!!!! That place is out of control!! My mom is happy though because she has hated the idea of watching me open presents for 2 hours..I think she sabotaged this on purpose!

Maggie, I'll make you laugh, one of my mom's aunts had the microwave intentionally sent to us and then called my mom and asked her how she was going to bring all the gifts to the shower. She thought that everyone sent the gifts to the brides house and that my mom would then shlep them all to my shower. Some people really live in their own world

My mom is trying so hard to convince me we're not having a shower, eventhough I'm starting to see things come off the registry, I'm so nosy,but I think my mom would definitely jump the UPS man as well!!

the worst part is that when the doorbell rang...she was SCREAMING for me to answer the door...when she realized it was the UPS guy...she almost gave me a black eye trying to get me away from the door....

This is very true, but they make it wayyyy to easy for people to screw up. My mom sent it to the person's house once and realized after it was too late, she freaked and called the girl's mom and foutunatley the address on there was her mom's and not hers so things weren't ruined.
I think in most parts of the country people send wedding gifts to people's houses so thats why it is like that even though it is stupid for us .
