Thank you notes and address labels?

Does anyone know of a good place to get thank you notes for the shower and address labels? I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive. Online stores would be best. Thanks!

honestly i found my TY notes at Targets Club Wedd section.

simple and pretty--i think i paid like $4 per 12 TY cards. as for labels, i'm not sure, cause i just hand wrote the labels for my cards.

Why not? There's no way that I'm hand writing our return address on every thank you card. That's just too much. I'll hand write the recipients address if I have to.

You can just get avery labels (or whatever brand) for your printer and print your own return address labels.

If you do some online searching, you can even find fun designs / templates for printing your own return address labels.

well according to emily post etiquette, you dont put labels on invitations or thank you cards. You either write it out yourself, hire a calligraphist or get a program to print it out on the invites

I hate Emily Post. No offense, but I think that a lot of her 'rules' are outdated.

It might be just as easy to have your computer print your return addresses on the envelopes.

If you have a database of addresses, you can also then print the recipient's address at the same time.

No alot of people now just get the calligraphy program and do it themselves on their printers.

Yeah thats what i am saying the same amount it takes for you to do the labels on your comp, is the same amount of time it takes to have them printed on the envelopes

I think people just got the wrong idea and thought i was saying everyone needs to hire a calligraphist, i just threw that in there because yes some people do this, but most just do the address right onto the envelope from their computers

i just made my sisters wedding invites, on an ivory paper. We bought Clear avery labels, and exported all the guests info from excel to word.

the labels came out really nice
and since they are clear
you can hardly tell.
