Since my mom has gone above and beyond for us for every aspect of our wedding, I wanted to buy her something really nice to show her how much we appreciate her. Although, FH and I feel like it will never be enough. It's early, since our wedding is in January, but since Fortunoff was having their Friends & Family sale is was a good opportunity to save 20%.
What do you think, it's called 'Someone to look up to' I thought it was ver appropriate. I think she's going to love, I hope I can hold off on giving it to her.

That's really nice.
I went to a wedding a few weeks ago where during the ceremony the bride and groom gave their moms a rose. The reverend said 'at this point, we want to show appreciation for the woman that loved us first'.
Oh, I'm tearing up just thinking about it. That is something I am definitely going to do.

Yes it's a Lladro, my mom has collected them over the years, so I thought it was perfect to add to it.
My mom loves them...she has a few, I even have a few of them. They're expensive but some of them are sooo pretty, I can't resist.
you gave me a great idea for a present for her...btw theres a place in whitestone that sells them, the guy always gives me and my mom 30% off and no tax if I pay cash. It ends up being a good amount of savings, if ur interested Ill FM you the name of the place.
Is it the place on the corner, off of the cross island?? I completely forgot about that place. There's also a place in Jackson Heights that my mom and I go to. They both totally slipped my mind.

Yes thats the place, yea I know the place in Jackson heights too......me and my mom get most of our things there. What's good is that even if they dont have a particular piece, theyll order it anyway.
