Thank You Presents at Rehearsal Dinner

Do you give your parents their Thank You present at the Rehearsal Dinner? Or is the RD reserved for bridal party gifts?

When my sister got married a few years ago, she gave the parents their gifts then and I will probably do the same.

You give them at the rehersal dinner plus you would not want your parents to feel left out. Both parents are getting wedding albums as gifts so I will give them small gifts at the rehersal till the albums are done which will take 2 weeks after the wedding

I am giving my BM and the GM gifts and a gift to the parents.
I figure it is a good opportunity to do so!!

do you give the presents at the end of the dinner or sometime during? do you give it to them privately or go around giving the presents to everyone while they are all watching?

i would say you could give them after dinner before dessert maybe.
we'r giving gifts to everyone - BP, Parents and readers at the RD
I'm also going to try to make a mini-wedding cake as a Groom's cake for the Rd...and possibly put the BM charms in it if i can.....we'll see what actually happens though!!

do you make a production of it? or just give it to them all together? i know these questions are ridiculous but i've never been to a rehearsal dinner before.

they don't open their presents at dinner - do they? does it make the people who are not in the bridal party feel uncomfortable?
