Girls - If you receive a gift from guests who cant make it to the wedding - do you send a thank you right away or wait until i get the formal invites from the photographer?? Thanks!

you can send one right away, and then after you get the thank yous you can send another with a note that just says 'we missed you at the wedding, thanks again for the generous gift, we thought you'd like to see how well 'bride or grooms name here' cleaned up for the big day'

We sent them right away. I was afriad of forgetting to send one later. If you have a list started you can wait till later and write something like 'we missed you dearly but thank you for the generous gift'
