Thank You's

Original post by BRIDE62610

Do FH & I have to make a 'thank you speech' at the wedding? If so, what should it entail?! I am nervous & clueless. Should FH do most of the talking? When do we do one?

We plan on thanking our parents

We're not going to. If you'd like to thank people then I'd make a speech at the RD.

We did a more personal thank you speech to our parents and BP at the RD and for the wedding we took a minute at the end of the night to verbally say thank you to all our guest for sharing that day with us and I took the time to thank my husband (for the first time as my husband!) for trusting me in the planning process. I was so happy to have everyone there that day that we felt that we had to say something. It only took a minute.

We had planned to but in never made the speech- We did go around to all of the tables though and talked to and thanked our guests.
