So we are going through things, to take out xmas decorations and to start packing.
Anyway, in the process I find 7 birthday cards from Geno's b-day 1st party in June. Somehow they must have gotten seperated from everything and never were sent thank you's.
I feel SOOO AWFUL!!! How tacky and Rude? So now what do I do? Do I just go on about my life or what? Suggestions on how to handle this so I dont further offend??

Honestly, I could not just let it go...I would want those 7 people to know in their hearts that it was an honest mistake...I would call each and every one of them as soon as possible, and explain exactly what you wrote above (how the got misplaced, etc. and you just found them now...) Just apologize for the oversight...I am sure everyone will understand (and have a good chuckle, too!)

I just gave my friend a Thank-You card from my sons b-day in July! (I forgot to mail it as well) She just laughed!!

I have sent so many late thank you's. It was impossible for me to remember who brought what to the hospital for him so I constantly ask did you bring me a gift to the hospital and then send a card
