That doesn't make any sense to me...she knew your wedding date - why on earth would she choose the morning of your wedding to have her civil ceremony!? Did she have a reason?

That's really sad on her part. Well, she will be missing out on a lot. Like they couldn't do it the day before or after? I'm so sorry. Obviously there is something wrong with them that they would do that. How could her fiance agree to that? I'm so sorry.

Something is not right....why can't they do it the following weekend? If her dad isn't moving for 2 weeks....that still leaves time. What does it matter if they are both starting new jobs on Monday...something tells me that neither one of them is going to work 7 days a week....so they can squeeze it in on their day off! Not my business....but why are they in such a hurry? Is she PG?

I would be furious!! I would also suggest she not tell anyone that day and save it until the next day as this is YOUR day, not a day for people to be congratulating her. Although I would not be congratulating her anyway cause I would think she was a moron and she should be embarrassed to even tell people!!!

god..i cant believe that..It really does seem like something from a movie. I'd probably be a little ****ed. That is YOUR day, and you want her to be there with you to celebrate your wedding. I find it hard to believe that there is not one day other than that day for them to get married. I honestly dont even know what to tell you..I'm sorry. I'm ****ed for you!

What the Hell is that????!!!!!! I am sorry but that is totally messed up. What does Ben say? The way I see it she is getting married in the morning and celebrating it also at your reception since they can't have a big wedding. I am sorry but if I was in your position I would be absolutely furious and I would of cut her off. I hope that this is not the one that has been giving you all these problems lately. nrvbrd- you are completely right that have one set of big cojones? OMG...I would be embarrassed to even think about doing that to a friend on the day of their wedding day.

This reminds me of the episode of friends when Monica and Chandler got engaged then Rachel wanted to hook up with Ross...BUT EVEN WORSE.

Sorry she needs to do that on your day. Sounds like they want to be able to celebrate their marriage at your reception! That was the first thing I thought of when i read your post. Sorry you have to put up with something like this so close. It's your day and everyone knows that.
