I wouldn't have my mom wear it, but to each her own! If she can pull it off, then more power to her, but maybe in a different color to tone it down? It is on the flashy side.

to me that looks like an older lady dress and if she has the body to do the dress justice than more power to her.

The worse she looks, the better you look I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't care what kind of dress anyone got excpet for the bridal party.

Ok, I like that line of thinking . I didn't care either until I got an email saying this was the dress she wanted.

She wants it in black, which is obviously better than the purple but black is not going to put four more yards of fabric on this dress. Ahhh!

Ok, I have to take this down just in case there are some prying eyes. I know I have to just suck it up but I needed some reassurance that I'm not insane.
