Thanks girls

Okay, so I'm a little drunk (FH and I drank a bottle and a half of champagne for our anniversary), but I'm feeling all sappy and sentimental. And I have to say thank you to all you girls - I don't really have girlfriends around (my best girlfriends are from college and after we graduated, they moved to stupid Buffalo and Maryland and Princeton and even San Fransisco and London). The months before I got engaged, I used to be really upset that I didn't have any girls around to have girly talk with, and my FH (then boyfriend) would try to compensate, but it just wasn't the same. Talking to him about shoes or makeup or my period was just depressing... ... Now, with all you girls, I feel like I have girlfriends again, and it's so important to me. I know we haven't officially met, but I feel like you know me about as well as some of my 'real' friends do, and even a little bit better in some respects, because you can totally empathize about my wedding craziness.

So, I can't really feel my fingers anymore, and I'm probably going to wake up in the morning and think, 'OMG, how embarrassing,' but for now, I just wanted to take a minute and say that you '08 girls are the best! Okay, I'm done gushing now.

I feel the same way about being able to chat with such amazingly nice people who can totally relate to everything I'm going through!

awwww how cute are you!! i feel the same way.. i only have 3 really good girl friends and we are all just so busy with our own lives its hard to just sit and talk... so i feel like you girls do that for me and we have like our own little secret club!!!

As for the good spelling - I was an English major at college - I have a lot of practice typing papers late into the night after a few beers!

that is very sweet. I understand how you feel. Most of my friends are male and my best friend and I arent friends anymore. I have 2 good female friends but i hardly see them. So I'm glad that you can find that girl talk here!!!!

That is so sweet and mushy Dava! I love that in a matter of a month or so I have been so lucky to find this site and all of you wonderful 08 girls. I only have a few good girls and we all are doing different things so it's hard to keep up. It's great to know we can count on each other for advice and laughs and of course....raunch!! I can't wait to see where the next year or two take us!!
