Thanks, Ladies.

Thanks, Ladies.

Ya'll are the best with the hugs and words of support.

I was trained by the best when it deals with nutty MILs. My grandma and grandpa were thinking about a divorce around the time that my parents were getting married. Grandma wanted to serve grandpa with divorce papers on the morning of my parents' wedding. My mom - who was 18 at the time - told her that she had a choice. Do that, or attend her oldest son's wedding. She could not do both, as this was not HER DAY.

It's kinda ingrained in me There are ways to be civil and stern and (as I've said before when it comes to MILs) sometimes the best reaction is no reaction.

Wow i just read your post about what happened last night!! CRAZY!!! You are good girl!! i think i would have broken down...you handled that situation great. I think since she's not used of hearing NO that's why she reacted the way she did...but she'll eventually come around. She doesnt want to distance herself from her son...

i cant believe she lied about going to Bangledesh for your outfit!!! OMG!!!
