Thanks RE: Halloween wedding advice

Wow, thanks for all of the feedback on that question. The bottom line for everyone no matter what their opinion was that any day will be inconvenient for someone and to just be happy. I'm good with that advice! For whatever reason I feel like I just need to clarify things that were not stated in my original post:

1. Kids are not invited to the wedding, so they can continue with halloween as usual with their friends.

2. Parents can trick or treat with their kids before the wedding (no OOT guests)

3. I do not consider halloween a holiday. Yes i know it is a day with a name where some people make plans, but I agree with who ever said it: if you can't pick between halloween and my wedding then we are not close!

This is why her answer was a shock to me. I truly didn't believe thathalloween had to be THAT different to cause such a reaction.

Aren't you relieved / happy now ?
Best thing is that you realized you can't please everyone - that should be the most important piece of advice given to anyone.

There's just some people out there who will find wrong in everything!!! It's not worth getting upset over. It's your day and you do what works best!
