Going to Fh's parents house in the afternoon for antipasta and macaroni. Then to my parents house for turkey. Then to a friends house for desert. Way too much food!

Re: Thanksgiving

Actually and this is really exciting....FH and I are hosting our very first Thanksgiving! At our Apartment in Maryland. We are having both entire immediate families together for the first time! Most of them have met already but my sister has not met FH's dad or brother. So this is SUPER exciting! We can't wait! It is gonna be AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Thanksgiving

we aren't spending thanksgiving together I'm really not happy about this but FH wants to go to his aunts and I want to stay with my family. Next year this will not happen I made that clear. I'm just sad not to be spending it with him. If we had a car it would be easier to split the holidays but he would have to take the train back to NYC then the metro north into westchester to be at my parents. Plus...his friends all do this big football game the day after which he wouldn't miss for anything.

We are both going to MD. My family is big, so everyone rotates. This year one of my unlces and aunts. My mom is 1 of 7 and they all still live in the same neighborhood.

Re: Thanksgiving

the drama of holiday family sharing has already begun so we are really not sure what we are doing yet. Moms not up for cooking so we'll be having something small at her house and then probably head to fsils new house... we will see

Re: Thanksgiving

We're going to my cousin's house for the first time! My parents have hosted Thanksgiving every year since I was born, soooo 26 years in a row! My grandfather passed away in September, and this year my cousin is doing it for us. We're going there for a couple of hours, then to FIL's house. We want to get to see both families. I love Thanksgiving! I call it 'Geebing' because in my mom's accent it sounds like she's saying Thanksgeebing and it's cute!!

Re: Thanksgiving

We always have Thanksgiving at home. FH may possibly stop by for dessert, but it all depends on where his family is having it this year. We usually keep seperate holidays.

Re: Thanksgiving

i feel like thanksgiving, or any holiday for that matter is just another reason for my parents to throw a party. We always end up totally smashed and see who gets the funniest pic by the end of the night!

Christmas eve , last yr...

Notice, none of me...lmao!
