So on my way to work this morning I has a 'holy s@!t' moment. This is my last thanksgiving home, not married and still having my mom cook it!!
My future in-laws (the whole family ) will be over for dinner. This is the year I really have to get my toosh in the kitchen and learn how to do the turkey, I pretty much have all the sides down but the turkey always makes me nervous !!
How are your feeling, and what are you girls doing for the holiday?

I can't believe it's a couple of weeks away. This year it's at my FIL's. Then the day after, I will be driving upstate to have Thanksgiving with my Parents and Sister.

we're spending thanksgiving at my parents house. FH's family lives in NC and since we were there last year with them (my parents couldn't go cause of work the day before and after), we're spending it with my fam this year. his fam can't come up to be with us cause his sister had a baby in aug so next year we'll prob be in NC.

Everything will be ok!
We are going to my parents for dinner and then going to FH's parents for dessert. I hate splitting the holidays!

We go to Florida, 5 days of fun on the beach and home cooked thanksgiving dinner by my mom and I. FH comes too. His mom is probably less then happy that were doing this for a third year in a row. But its fh who wants to go.

Going to FH's family's house for Thanksgiving this year. It is going to be HUGE. Like 30 people, that's how the PRs do it! And its not just turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing, they do a lot of puerto rican food, so it'll be cool!
This is our first year together. We are both very close with our families, so it was hard to decide. However, my sister and brother will both be at their in-laws' houses this year for thanksgiving, so my mother said that she would rather have all of us or none of us. Next year we will all be at my mom's house for Thanksgiving. But don't feel too bad for mom and dad, they are going on a cruise for Thanksgiving this year!!!!!!!! NO FAIR!

Ah! It's my last Thanksgiving unmarried, too! And my first Thanksgiving engaged! Ha.
My aunt always has the family over so this year FH and FMIL will be joining us. It should be fun!
In a few years we'll own a house, but I still think I'll be going to my aunt's for T-day. It's just tradition.

We agreed to alternate holidays each year so this year we will be spending Thankgsgiving with FH's family.

FH will probably have to work (again)
However, it makes it easier to split the holiday. His parents come up from FL every year for Thanksgiving at his cousin's house. My family usually goes to my cousin's.
So, we'll probably do what we did last year. FH worked during the day, I went to my cousin's and spent the day with my family then headed over to his cousin's when he got off of work.
I feel bad making him come to my family when it's the only holiday his parents actually spend with him.

FH and I are having both of our families over for dinner...we are cooking with a little help from our mom's who each have insisted on bringing something...It should be a lot of fun. I am really looking forward to celebrating the holiday with both families...Hopefully I feel the same way in a couple of weeks!!!

We are doing a small thanksgiving at my moms house and then going to fhs family. I am very angry with some of my family members so I have been avoiding them (Very thoughtless throughout the last two hard years I've had with my dad very ill and my mom)
I would have wished that the basement was done and we could have just had it there
