FH & I want to do a med. cruise, but February is too cold to do that so we are postponing our honeymoon til June. And spending well over $10k.
Since we are spending so much we can't really afford to go on 2 honeymoons but want to do something small ..like a 2 day trip in February.
Something we haven't done before, something romantic, something inexpensive, something that is fine to do when it's cold out.
I LOVE the cold weather, but hate the outdoors (no joke lol) so no skiing or anything like that.
Suggestions please!

Do you guys ski/snowboard??? Why not take a nice ski trip somewhere that you've never been?
EDIT: disregard because I obviously didn't read the part where it said no outdoors stuff, specifically skiing LOL

You could do a one or two day cruise to nowhere from NY - they're like $150pp and at least you get a room, food, and entertainment.
Or you could go to Cape May - it's beautiful there, even in the winter. Though not much to do.
Could do a wine tour of the wineries upstate - if they're open.
Woodloch Pines or another resort-like place?
Foxwoods? Win some money!
That's all I've got for now.

ok, i know its going to sound cornbally, but how about the Poconos? you can get gorgeous rooms - yes with the heart or champagne shaped glass jacuzi's in the room - and they even have a honeymoon suite. if you guys like outdoor winter activites - they have a bunch that are included with the price of the room. the Poconos really does cater to just a romantic couple getaway.

Why not find a cute romantic lodge up in the mountains somewhere. I've seen ones that are gorgeous with the fire place and winter lake views.

I've actually spent a lot of time at the culinary institute ..
besides the fact that I'm a fata ss, My college roommate ( we went to school 20 minutes from CIA) dated a guy from there so we had a lot of friends there.
But thank you for the suggestion - it really is a great suggestion for everyone, it's really nice up there and the food is unreal.
Poconos is my last resort, but it is very inexpensive as well - My friends and I rented out a house in Albrightsville last winter, I think for a week it was $300. And it had fireplaces and everything. So we may do that again.
