From what I can tell, the closest hotels are Huntington Hilton and the Marriott in Melville.

We used the Holiday Inn right off the expressway (exit 52?) They were the cheapest and the only one with a free shuttle. We did not have a breakfast the next day though. Since they have no restaurant/bar, you wouldn't use them if that's what you want. We had a hospitality suite for the afterparty and brought all our own stuff. We were very happy with that choice. New, clean rooms and a great bridal suite.

we used the Huntington Hilton. We wanted one with a bar for afterwards. The Hilton's bar stayed open till 4. Our reception ended at midnight and the shuttle didn't arrive back at the hotel until almost 1.
The Melville Marriott's bar closed at midnight and they would NOT stay open for us, so even though we liked the hotel, it was a deal breaker.

When i was supposed to be getting married there, we booked the Chalet that is right next dooor (1/2 block maybe). It is really nice, Almost all of the rooms are brand new, plus people could literally walk back! Check them out!
