Thatched Cottage

I have a question about the Thatched Cottage's decor. Their website looks like the walls and chairs are a lilac color. It is like this in person or is my monitor playing tricks on me?

I think FH may think it looks too 'feminine' if its all purple so I was hoping to get some feedback from those that have seen it.

The walls are off-white, creamy colored and I believe the chairs are the same (though seriously I do not remember even looking at the chairs)

I think the reason it looks 'lilac' or lavendar in the website photo is because they have the room set up with the lavendar linens, etc, and the light reflecting into the room gives it that colored 'glow' One of the best things about that room is how much light you get through those window, just beautiful! Its definitely a 'lighter' colored room though, so if you are looking for that darker wood feel that this is probably not the room for you

I'm geting married there in 2 months and also thought that the chairs are lilac. It's the only thing I didn't like. I'll be so happy if they're cream colored.

I am also getting married there, and I too was worried about the color. It turns out that it does not look that lilac in person, and that is the smaller room upstairs. We will be using the larger room downstairs for the reception and it has a different decor. Go see!
