Thatched cottage!

Hey Does anyone have a review on this. I looked but I cant find any. Has anyone been to a wedding there? Any comments?

We went to my friend's wedding this past summer. It was beautiful. The cocktail hour was outside-it was so comfortable, and they served soooo much excellent food. The reception was gorgeous-the service, food, entertainment-everything was great! Not one complaint.

I had my engagement party there... everyone LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was soo beautiful!! My ONLY complaint is that my mother was very annoyed that the woman she was dealing with (Toni Anne) would not call her back for ANYTHING!!! Other than that, it is a truly beautiful place and the staff that were there at the time of my party were all great!!! FM me if you have any more questions...

I didn't meet with a banquet manager or anything but it is very pretty, on the water, and closed off so it will be quiet with no boats going by. I have a friend who was married there and she raved about it!

I had a similar problem with Toni Anne as well when we were looking there...totally turned us off- we did not receive the best customer service with them. The food was okay at the tasting we went to- some of us got a little sick afterwards.

We checked it out for our wedding - GORGEOUS! But - you know there's a but - we couldn't pick the menu or passed hor d'oerves (sp?) - it was the chef's choice... We didn't like that. Other than that - no complaints!!!!!!!

Oh boy We have a food tasting this saturday. I HOPE its good...I honestly have not like ANY of the food at the places that I visited so far which is alot. Im not even that picky...some food taste dry, too salty and frozen at all the places...I dont know what it is about these places charging so much money and they slack on food...to me its themost important part!! I will def NOT book until we have a tasting.

Yes Thank You...I will make sure that I bring this up to her.....I know they are known for a good wait staff. .I spoke with ralph the owner and he has actually been good with communication. Most important is the food and we will be booking it for this september if all goes well!!!

My sister got married there in August 2004 and it was wonderful! I remember all the food being great and the service that day was great too. The ceremony and CH were outside - gorgeous.

That is funny cause i had Toni Ann as my banquet manager- and she ALWAYS returned my calls and was wonderful. i wouldnt have gotten through a lot without her!

to get around this, u can tell them at menu choice time which hor d'oerves u dont want. i was very specific of what i didnt want, so i got all the passed hor d'oerves i wanted!

Please!! Bump that for me....Thank You so much...yes I called tonianne today and she got back to me right away she even called me twice ( at my apartment) and once on my cell. THey never said I cant pick and choose whatever I want! In fact she gave me so many options to choose from.
