I'm getting married at Crestwood Manor, right up the road from Thatched Cottage and I did the Hilton on 110.

I totally agree....the place is amazing and I am sooooo excited to be having our wedding at such a beautiful place!!

i am another thatched cottage bride and i have been doing some research but havent committed to anything yet. Can i ask why you decided hilton on 110 over the melville marriott? I think melville marriot quoted me about $20 less a room.

also do they offer a shuttle if enough people rent a room? im just bad with directions so i wasnt sure which was a close decent ride .. thank all you ladies and yayyyy thatched cottage =) i remember when i was one of the only girls on here .. i was like uh oh did i make a mistake!! lol

What are you fellow thatched cottage brides doing about a shuttle to and from your hotel to Thatched cottage? Being that is about a half hour from the melville marriot or huntington hilton to the thatched cottage, i am thinking of just doing 1 drop off and 1 pick up at the end of the night. Problem with that is any shuttle buses the companies usually send only fit about 14 people but i would need a minibus to fit all the guests (approx 30 people)and i have been quoted over 1,000 for this. Something i was NOT expecting... any suggestions???

LOVE to my other TC brides!!!

We are doing the Hilton on 110. My brother just got married at the Harbor Club in Aug and used the Marriott, so we wanted to do something different, even if the room prices were a little more.

We rented a party bus from Camelot who we are getting limos from and are having them do a shuttle to TC at the beginning and end of the night for our hotel guests.
