It was Friday night - it rained booooooooo - so we didn't get to go outside which is absolutely gorgeous!
CH - 10 - they had a pasta station, carving station, Mexican station (didn't eat), Greek station (didn't eat - didn't want smelly breath), crepe station, veggie/cheese/fruit display, and a sushi roll station (my favorite).
The passed hor'deurves (sp?) were delicious. They had some type of spinach quiche - oh my god - it was so good.
Reception - 10 - I thought everything was great! The chicken looked very gourmet and tasty (I don't really like chicken so I didn't have any) but it did look good. I had the prime rib (and it did take a while for us to get served) BUT, they had horseradish sauce!!!!!!!!!!!! Yummy!!!!! They even had the chef come around and offered seconds...
It seemed like the Maitre'D was so on top of everything. Oh and the bride made her own cake. Yes, she really did. It was amazing. The best cake I ever had at a wedding.
No complaints at all about it - it was awesome.
Oh wait - they served pink champagne! I don't know if it was by special request but it was really good. A little on the sweet side but I drank it all night..
So Thatched Cottage brides - no worries!

That is too funny I work w/ Bri and my fh's best friend and his gf was there too. I don't know the bride very well but I met her a few times and I knew she was making her own cake. I can't wait to see him in 2 weeks and look at his pics

Re: Thatched Cottage review!
Thanks Jen
I feel soooo much better now after the last review I saw was less than stellar.
Was it the raspberry champagne? We had that at our tasting and while it was a little too sweet it was really good. Even FH liked it and he's not into that kinda stuff.
