I am NOT going to work tomorrow!!!

11 schools closed and we are not one of them?????

dont get it!!! just dont get it!!

There are rumors saying that we have 3 or 4 confirmed cases.... not going... i am staying home!!!!!

hopefully things will change in the morning!!

Wow...

Now, not to overreact but FH & I are sure that it went around his school a few weeks ago. A few teachers, him, me...it was awful but it was 'unconfirmed' and just a 'flu'

I thought the Gov't had told everyone to stop closing schools from it because it was no worse then the regular flu. Did that change again?

Unfortunately, I'm stuck home myself, have a bad case of stomach virus and slight cold. I called in work to report sick. Not only did they notify the HR Dept but I was told to get the doctor's approval (note) and to contact them before I head back to work. I understand why they would be concerned since there has been 1 confirmed death from swine flu as of last night at Flushing Hospital, NY. They should also understand that it is normal for people to have allergies and cold symptoms since it is in May. Work places are treating sick people like they're contagious.

Lawrence (Five Towns) Long Island for us. And it was like a regular flu just really quick onset and just as quickly it went away it was so bizarre.
