Re: THATS IT I'VE HAD IT!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!
I can sort of relate- I just started meeting with a trainer at the gym yesterday. He told me that to achieve my goals I can't eat starchy carbs after 6- but I usually eat dinner around 7 or 7:30 so that means no carbs with dinner! That's rough! I went nuts last night and eventually caved in

A good substitute for chocolate chip pancakes are the 100 calorie packs of entenmann's chocolate chip brownies....I don't know if that'll help

I was told no carbs too, and carbs are my weakness... it took me two weeks to get over the cravings, but then again, I wasn't running 15 miles a week. My workout routine... two days of weights so that I can tone everything, plus my trainer friend told me when you build lean muscle it burns more fat... and then two days of cardio. I fill up on proteins (lean meats, chicken, fish) and have been taking Benefiber with my meals, it helps to make me feel fuller so I don't crave the carbs as much. When I have really bad cravings, I'll eat one piece of sugar-free chocolate squares from Dove and it makes me feel like I indulged without going over board.
I hope that helps you out.

You can't completely cut all carbs out of your diet, bc eventually you will give in and it will hurt you. You should stick to eating only complex carbs, combined with some sort of lean protein. Next time you are craving carbs after a work out have some turkey or grilled chicken on multi-grain bread. It will satisify you and will be healthy.

I agree that ww is an awsm diet, i lost 50 lbs on it, however, if you are eating carbs after you work out, you arent doing your body justice. After you workout you should have something with a lean protein whether it's an egg, roasted almonds with no added salt, or a zone bar. A zone bar has carbs but it has a lot of protein. Thing is protein after a workout helps to rebuild your muscle that gets affected when you run, carbs help to break down your muscles after you work out. Im currently doing south beach and it is wonderful, but it's not a good choice for you because of the amount of running you are doing. Your body needs carbs when you run that much. GL and HTH
