Ladies,
What do you guys think about getting married on the 13th? Whenever i tell people i am thinking about that date or even that weekend, they think negativly right away. AS if it really is a bad luck day. LAdies help me out. Would anyone else get married on that date?
My parents married on June 13 and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary!!! They are extremely happy!

I would definitely get married on the 13th. I was born on Friday the 13th and so was my mom. Don't let people tell you it's a jinx because it's not! Good luck
I love telling people we're getting married on the 13. It's a Saturday, but just to mess with people I’ll tell them it's a Friday. It's funny to watch them try to hide their superstitions. If anyone gives you a hard time about getting married on the 13th, i would question their personal beliefs, over questioning if you should get married that day. Honestly, come on, it's only a number.
We're getting married on Friday the 13th and we are very excited! At first, I was hesitant due to the comments. But I keep on telling people that for Italians 13 is good luck.
I wouldn't let it stop me either. Afterall, it is your day so you should get married when you want to, not when other people think you should. Not only that but how superstitious are you going to be. Good luck! Go with it!
I took a lot of slack for a while - then finally got up enough courage to tell them to 'GET OVER IT'. And as I said in an earlier post to someone who had inquired about this date - anyone who has a problem with Friday the 13th can just give me the money to make up the price difference for a Sat. night, and I'd be happy to change it!!!
My parents, happily married since 1965, will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary on November 13th of this year. Go for it!
My sister got married on the 13th & they just celebrated their 10th anniversary. I would say 13 is a lucky number!!
We are getting married on Oct. 13 2002. I thought about the date being creepy for only about a minute. The 13th is good luck according to the Italians so since my FH is Italian I feel better..:) Don't worry!!
I am getting married on the 13. It is a Saturday but 13 doesn't bother me. Plus, if other people don't pick that date b/c they're freaked out by it, it's good for you b/c you'll have a variety of choices when choosing photgrapher, dj, band etc. b/c they will be more available that night since many people shyed away. Just laugh it off if anyone has something to say. I've been telling people when my anniversary finally falls on Friday the 13, we are going to celebrate that year by going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show!
