Re: The Andrew Hotel, Great Neck
i actually blocked off room at the Andrew for our wedding. It's literally two minutes from Leonards. It doesn't look like much from the outside but they gave me a tour of the rooms and they were very nice. All the rooms have 42inch plasma TV's. The bathrooms are alittle small, but also very nice. It's a small hotel. I believe it was 3 or 4 floors and I don't think theres even 100 rooms.

I went there last year after a wedding. We all hung out at the bar. It was really nice and I don't think the prices were bad...most of the wedding party was staying there. It's pretty and the bar is awesome to hang out at.

Re: The Andrew Hotel, Great Neck
this is from my sis's review The Andrew Hotel A+++
I reserved this hotel and it had mixed reviews so I was honestly nervous on the service but they did a great job taking care of the guests and their needs. While their dining area needs some work it was a wonderful stay and a lovely swank hotel. Club music played throughout the hotel giving it a chic Manhattan feel. The rooms all had plasma Tv’s and the beds were so comfortable! We honestly didn’t want to leave. Their wedding package turn down service was fantastic! The entire floor was covered in rose petals. On the bed was a rose petal design of a heart on the table chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Since we blocked the rooms with the hotel they offered us the wedding package for free and suite for the same rate as the regular rooms.
she got her proofs back...when she posts them i'll post pics taken in the suite and lobby.

It's right off Middle Neck Road. Right by the great Neck train station.

Re: The Andrew Hotel, Great Neck
I blocked rooms here for some of my guests. it's supposed to be the sister hotel to the Bryant Park Hotel, so i'm assuming it's nice.
It's about 15-20 min away from WM.

Re: The Andrew Hotel, Great Neck
After a lot of debating, I blocked rooms at the Andrew for my September 08 wedding. So far, the sales manager has been great and is very accomodating. They also will arrange for guest shuttles for you (through a local co., they charge you per trip for pick-up, drop-off).
