The BACHELOR - Meredith interview

I live in Portland, and Meredith is here today. She was on 105.1fm ('The
Buzz') at 4:00pm. She said she'll be here until tomorrow night, when she
goes back to Los Angeles, where apparently she's living and working these
days. She told that she's a graduate of Oregon State University (class of
'95), and that after that, she moved to L.A. and hasn't lived here since.
(If I had the opportunity, I'd do the same thing!) She said that they
didn't have any sort of entertainment in the house, so they drank (they
even had a margarita machine, but it broke! LOL), and that cameras were in
every room except the bathroom. The cameramen apparently weren't allowed to
talk to them, so the girls entertained themselves by trying to get the
camera guys to talk. She also said that Bob was pretty stressed out on the
show (as were all of them), and that in real life, he really IS that crazy
goofball from 'The Bachelorette' -- she said that he's always cracking
jokes, and that he is hilarious! She said that many of the things we see
are edited -- like when she first got out of the limo and saw him for the
first time -- they made her do it again, because they didn't like that she
was going to walk in the house arm-in-arm with him. She also said that the
rose ceremonies take FOREVER -- she said that Bob has to wait to be cued to
go in the room with the girls, and that it takes them about TEN hours to
get everything set up the way they want it. She said that that's the reason
everyone looks so stressed out. She also said that they basically
encouraged the girls to drink...a time killer, maybe? Maybe to get some of
them to drop their inhibitions? But the most interesting thing was this --
no one was wrong about Lee Ann. Meredith said that Lee Ann's witchiness has
been downplayed by the editors -- that she's actually WORSE in person than
what we're seeing! She said that Lee Ann was playing all kinds of games.
One last thing -- the guys on the radio tried to get her to tell who ended
up with him (big shock), and she said that if any of them gave away
anything, there was a $5 mil. suit hanging over their heads for giving it
away.
