Anyone know if filing a complaint w/ the BBB usually gets any positive results?

Re: The BBB
It depends on how seriously the company in question takes those complaints.
I once threatened to make a complaint, and then all of a sudden, the 'offender' could not go out of their way to help me fast enough.
However, I actually did file one against a major retailer and they never responded to it. But, now they have a bad record with the BBB for not responding.

I made a complaint with the BBB and foumd them to be pretty useless (but it was against Ford so I don't know if they would be more helpful if it wasn't against such a hug business).

This has been my experience also. The only positive is that you can look at other people's issues or at least the quantity and make your decision of whether or not to use them. But in my case, both times, they didn't help rectify the situation at all.

Ya I thought it wouldnt help either but figured at least future consumers can see the negative review. I wish I had thought to check out the BBB before the wedding process.

I filed and haven't had any results yet but it was only a few weeks ago - they ask for 30 days.
File also with Consumer Affairs. They're a government agency so they have a lot more pull.
