The Best Candle Lighter

The Best Candle Lighter

Hi girls

If you are not getting married in a church, something that comes up is how to light the unity candles. I've been to weddings where the Bride & Groom didn't think of this and they ended up using a BIC lighter. Not too classy. I've also seen where people use a BBQ lighter, but that's not too pretty either.

Anyway, I too am not getting married in a church and found this great lighter that looks nice and does the job. Check it out.

It's by BIC and called Luminere. The tip folds down so that it's compact until used, and then it can light in several different positions.

I think it's pretty neat! And they aren't much more expensive than your standard BBQ lighter.

Just thought I'd share!

i've never seen anyone light a candle with a lighter in the church. i've only seen people use long matches or wooden sticks and light it from the other candles that are lit. i would have never thought about it.

It's not much of an issue in church. But if you are having an outdoor ceremony, or someplace else, it's something to think about.

I even use them at home. They are great for lighting candles that are tucked inside something.
