the best ink for wedding invitations

So I have started working on my invites and it's going well so far thanks to everyones help on this board.

What kind of ink would be the best ink to buy for my printer when printing out the invites?

i could be wrong, but i don't think you can buy different kinds of ink for a printer -- i think each printer has its own ink, i don't think they are interchangeable
