The best place to vacation in Florida? Less than $600 for 3-4 days? Repost from BHB

FH and I are considering spending a long weekend in Florida from around 12-13-06 to 12-16-06.

Anyone have any hotel suggestions? We're open to any city: Miami, Ft. Lauderdale...whatever....

We don't want to spend more than $600 for the whole trip... including airfare + hotel.

Thanks in advance Any suggestion would be appreciated!

By the way: FH isn't into cruises, so that's out of the question.

Ever try priceline.com or hotwire.com? There are ways of narrowing down which hotels you could receive. Go to betterbidding.com and read the forums. You could wind up w/ a 4-5* hotel for 100 per night!!!!
